This Privacy Policy explains how we process personal data when you visit this website or contact us. We provide this notice in a concise, transparent and plain-language format, as required by Articles 12–14 GDPR.

1) Data We Process, Purposes, and Legal Bases

We may process the following categories of data for the purposes listed below and on the corresponding legal bases under Art. 6(1) GDPR:

  • Server & Security Logs (IP address, timestamp, URL, referrer, user agent) to deliver the website, ensure stability/security, and prevent abuse (legitimate interests, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
  • Contact Requests (name, email, message content) to respond to your inquiry (performance of a contract or pre-contractual steps, Art. 6(1)(b), or legitimate interests, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
  • Newsletter/Updates (if offered): email and optional profile data to send updates (consent, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR; you may withdraw at any time).
  • Cookies & Similar Technologies: strictly necessary cookies for site operation (legitimate interests/necessary for service, § 25(2) TDDDG). Analytics/marketing cookies only with prior consent (§ 25(1) TDDDG; Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). Manage choices at any time via the cookie banner.

If we introduce additional tools (e.g., analytics, fonts, CDN, video embeds), we will update this section with provider identity, purpose, data categories, storage duration, and transfer details, as required by Arts. 13–14 GDPR.

2) Cookies

We use only essential cookies by default. Any non-essential (e.g., analytics/marketing) cookies are set only after your opt‑in; refusal must be as easy as acceptance, and you can change your settings anytime via the cookie banner. Details appear in our cookie preference panel and below.

3) Recipients and Processors

Where we rely on vetted processors (e.g., hosting, email delivery, analytics), processing occurs under Art. 28 GDPR contracts. We disclose categories of recipients and safeguards in this Privacy Policy and, where relevant, in the cookie panel.

4) International Data Transfers

If personal data is transferred outside the EEA, we ensure an adequate level of protection (e.g., adequacy decision or EU Standard Contractual Clauses, plus supplementary measures where needed) and disclose relevant safeguards upon request.

5) Storage Period

We retain personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes stated, or as required by law. When not needed, data is deleted or anonymised under our retention schedules.

6) Your Rights

You have the following rights under the GDPR: access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability, objection, and, where processing is based on consent, the right to withdraw consent at any time (without affecting prior lawful processing). You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. We respond without undue delay and within one month, extendable where necessary.

  • Contact for rights requests: [insert email/DPO contact if applicable]
  • Supervisory authority (example for RLP): The State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (RLP). You may also contact your local EU authority.

7) Sources of Data

We primarily obtain data directly from you (e.g., contact forms). If we receive data from third parties, we will provide the Art. 14 GDPR information within one month or at first communication, as applicable.

8) Obligation to Provide Data

You are not legally required to provide personal data; however, certain features may require it (e.g., responding to messages).

9) Children’s Data

This website is not directed to children; we do not knowingly process children’s data.

10) Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction (Art. 32 GDPR).

11) Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this notice from time to time. Material changes will be indicated on this page with a new “Last updated” date.
